UNREDACTUS

ABOUT / UNREDACTUS

UNREDACT
AMERICA.

The public record belongs to the public.
Let’s make it readable.

WHY THIS EXISTS

Transparency has to be
something you can use.

UNREDACTUS makes changes to public records easier to find, read and question. Our first focus is the Epstein files: what was available in an earlier version, what is visible now, and what the comparison can actually establish.

A missing file, a changed hash and a new black bar are different observations. We keep the evidence beside the claim, so you can check the page yourself.

01 / READ

The words.

A text-first page brings removed passages together with their document IDs and page numbers. Source-reported candidates are labeled separately from confirmed comparisons.

Read the removed text →
02 / COMPARE

The versions.

Readable page renders, side-by-side and wipe views, and PDF fingerprints let you trace a reviewed passage back to both versions.

Explore the evidence →
03 / QUESTION

The claim.

Automated labels can be wrong. Review corrections, source disagreements and qualifying language stay visible. A document’s inclusion does not establish wrongdoing.

WHERE THE WORK STANDS

A snapshot you can inspect.

Imported October 21, 2026. Ongoing collection is not active.

25PDF page pairs checked
against both source versions
24 + 1New visible redactions
and one unredaction
165,807Source-reported text-change candidates
accounted for, with privacy protections

The 25-page review is a selected audit, not verification of the whole archive. Personal details, possible victim identities and unrelated sensitive material remain protected. Earlier capture dates and exact change dates are unknown. This project does not reconstruct text already hidden in every available version.

HASHES / AVAILABILITY

Epstein Exposed

Its integrity dashboard follows SHA-256 differences, reported removals and modification signals. That helps identify files to inspect; readable PDF comparisons help establish the visible change.

External figures are separate from our reviewed pairs. A changed hash does not identify the changed words. No live API connection is active here.

BASELINES / HISTORICAL OBSERVATIONS

The archive behind the trail

Rodrigo Polo’s SHA-256 inventory supplies release-hash baselines. The beak2825 archive preserves availability observations and a small before-and-after gallery. These are independent sources with different coverage.
